details The Parent Teacher Advisory Council for Special Education (PTACSE) is dedicated to finding ways for parents and teachers to work collaboratively to improve special education services for students in the Monroe County Community School Corporation, serving Bloomington, Indiana and other communities in the county.
Please join PTACSE. We rely on the active participation of our members in our efforts to strive for excellence in the delivery of special education services to MCCSC students. Every person can make a difference — whether by coming to meetings, organizing events, or participating in committees.
PTACSE meets monthly, usually the second Monday of the month at 6:30 pm at the Monroe County Public Library. New participants are always welcome. See the calendar for the 2009-2010 meeting dates.
PTACSE and CHADD have teamed up to align our regular meetings:
In Sept/Oct/Nov and March/April/May, CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) will meet right after the PTACSE meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the same room in the Monroe County Public Library. Interested PTACSE meeting participants are encouraged to attend both meetings. We will also make note of CHADD special speakers that we hope will be of interest to PTACSE participants.
