Welcome
The MCCSC Parent-Teacher Advisory Council for Special Education (Advisory
Council) is adapting its community presence to be primarily an online
networking and information dissemination resource. We no longer have monthly
meetings or events on a regular basis.
This decision for a change in format came about after several months of
declining attendance at the monthly meetings. The Spring 2010 survey also
indicated that although respondents supported the concept of the Advisory
Council, it appeared that the active participation required for a renewed
schedule of regular meetings, workshops and events was unlikely to emerge.
Instead, we have set up the following for your engagement:

below to "like" the group!

- continued presence of our website
- recast the group email list so any subscriber may post news or announcements to the list. Please send messages to:

Many thanks to the core group of parents, administrators, and teachers, and
other members of the community who did frequently make it to the Advisory
Council's meetings and events!
We appreciate your continued support, and hope to navigate successfully a
useful path to meet the needs of MCCSC students receiving special education
services.
